Taste the well-known Bull’s Blood of Eger, the Tokaji Aszú, fiery red wines of Villány and the liquid gold of Badacsony and more delicious wines. Throughout its history the country has always been famous for its mineral water wells. Hungary is the ideal place for anyone wishing to enjoy a spa and wellness vacation. Day 1 - Budapest

Day 1 - Budapest

- Arrival to Budapest, meet & greet at the airport with transfer to the hotel (extra bookable service)

- In the afternoon free time to enjoy the wellness facilities of the hotel

- Evening program: Welcome to Hungary - wine tasting followed by dinner and folklore performance in a vaulted cellar restaurant.

- Accommodation in a 4* superior wellness hotel

Day 2 – 4 – Northern Hungary

The country’s highest mountain, the smallest village, the first Hungarian language bible from the 16th century, and the oldest railway from the 19th century can be all found in the Eger-Tokaj Region. The world renowned Hungarian wine, the Tokaji Aszú, ages in the cellars of this region, while one of Europe’s most beautiful horse tracks and biggest cave systems is also can be found here.

Day 2 - Eger

- After breakfast departure to Eger, the town of Bullsblood (~ 140 kilometers/2 hrs driving)

- Upon arrival guided city walk in the historical old town, and visit to the “Valley of the Beautiful Woman” with lunch

- In the afternoon check-in to the hotel, free time for wellness...

- In the late afternoon visit to one of the famous wineries in Eger with tour of the vineyard and wine tasting.

- Wine dinner and accommodation in a 4* wellness hotel

Day 3 - Tokaj

Tokaj – Hegyalja (foothills) is the historical wine region (part of the Unesco World Cultural Heritage) where the world-famous Tokaji Aszú – "The king of wines, the wine of kings"- is produced.

- After breakfast departure to Tokaj (~ 130 kilometers/2,5 hrs driving)

- Upon arrival check-in, lunch in the hotel, free time for wellness...

- In the afternoon excursion in the region, followed by a visit to one of the most famous wineries in Tokaj with wine tasting and a short walk in the vineyard

- Exclusive wine dinner in the Vinotheke, accommodation in a deluxe 5* wellness hotel

Day 4 – 6 – Southern Transdanubia

This region is a little Mediterranean island within the country giving home to the top two Hungarian wine regions Villány and Szekszárd. We would guide you through the ancient Villány wine region, one of Hungary’s premier wine regions where some of the best Hungarian red wines are produced today. Here can be found the first wine route of Hungary, the Villány-Siklós Wine Route, and constituting part of the most scenic wine tours. During our program you can visit the world famous, historical attractions of Pécs, see picturesque vineyards and taste the region’s best wines and wellness.

Day 4 – Kalocsa & Villány

- After breakfast departure to Villány (~ 460 kilometers/all together 6 hrs driving plus stops)

- On the way, lunch and equestrian show in the town of Kalocsa, situated directly at the Danube River, on the border of the Great Hungarian Plain

- Arrival to Villány (region)

- Dinner and accommodation in a 4* wellness hotel

Day 5 – Pécs

Pécs was the European Capital of Culture in 2010 – "The Borderless City”

- After breakfast visit to the town of Pécs

- Lunch in the town centre

- After returning to the hotel in Villány, time for wellness

- In the afternoon visit to one of the famous wineries with guided visit of the vineyard and wine tasting

- Wine dinner and accommodation in the same hotel as the previous night

Day 6 – 7 – Lake Balaton Area

No visit to Hungary is complete without a visit to Europe’s largest freshwater lake. Gentle slopes, proud dolomite cliffs, rich-flavoured wines mellowed by the sun; and beaches with silky water and the spas still keeping the warmth of long extinct volcanoes, underground canals where you can go boating, caves in which even the air has a healing power, moors rich in wildlife. All these natural treasures and beauties featuring hills, spas, moors and the ‘Hungarian Sea’ as the brightest colour of the palette belong to the West Balaton Region. You have the opportunity to explore the characteristic wines of traditional Pannon wine regions in Badacsony. The hill is an extinct casket-shaped volcano. Its slopes are covered with some very strange geological formations, fossilized lava columns called "basalt organs" as well as vineyards which produce the excellent wine of the Pauline monks called "Grey Friar".

Day 6 – Lake Balaton

- After breakfast departure to Balaton Area (~ 220 kilometers/3-4 hrs driving)

- Upon arrival lunch, check-in to the hotel

- Time for wellness

- In the afternoon visit to one of the famous wineries in Badacsony, including visit of the vineyard and wine tasting, followed by a wine dinner

- Accommodation in a 4* wellness hotel

Day 7 – Budapest

- After breakfast departure to Budapest (~ 220 kilometers/3 hrs driving)

- Upon arrival lunch in the hotel, in the afternoon optional sightseeing tour, free time for shopping or relaxing…

- In the evening tasting of Hungarian sparkling wine and farewell dinner in a famous noble restaurant

- Accommodation in a 4- star superior hotel

Day 8 – Departures

- After breakfast departure to the airport, leaving Hungary
